#1 3 Things Most People Don’t Know About X (and no, it’s not XYZ)
-
Slide 1: Title / Hook
3 Things Most People Don’t Know About (Your Topic)
(And no, it’s not (Common Misconception))
Tip to customise: Pick a misconception that your audience thinks is the main truth about your topic, but you know is surface-level or outdated. Example:
Interior designer – “And no, it’s not ‘how to make everything match’”
Fitness coach – “And no, it’s not ‘just exercise more and eat less’”
Business coach – “And no, it’s not ‘just post more on Instagram’”
Slide 2: Intro / Context
Everyone thinks they know what (topic) is about.
But once you’ve lived it, worked with it, or built it from scratch… you realise there’s a whole other side no one’s talking about.
Here’s what I wish more people knew.
Tip to customise: Briefly state your authority here without sounding braggy. For example:
“After designing over 100 homes…”
“After coaching dozens of women through lifestyle changes…”
“After building three businesses from zero to profit…”
Slide 3: Thing #1
(Unexpected Truth #1)
A short, bold statement that flips a common belief.
Example:
Interior design – “It’s not about how your space looks. It’s about how it works for the way you live.”
Fitness – “Weight loss is not the goal. Sustainable energy and strength are.”
Business – “Branding isn’t just how you look. It’s how you’re remembered.”
How to make it your own: Think about the very first thing you wish a client understood before working with you. That’s your Unexpected Truth #1.
Slide 4: Thing #2
(Unexpected Truth #2)
This one should go a little deeper, with emotional or strategic weight.
Example:
Interior design – “Most people skip thinking about flow. But it’s what makes a home feel effortless.”
Fitness – “Most people focus on willpower. But it’s your environment that makes or breaks your habits.”
Business – “Most people skip the story. But that’s what your audience connects with first.”
How to make it your own: Ask yourself: what’s the part of your process people never think about, but you know is the real game changer?
Slide 5: Thing #3
(Unexpected Truth #3)
Make this one the most surprising, freeing, or even slightly controversial.
Example:
Interior design – “You don’t need a bigger space. You need a clearer vision for the one you have.”
Fitness – “You don’t have to go harder. You have to go more consistently.”
Business – “You don’t need to be more ‘professional’. You need to be more you.”
How to make it your own: Choose something that either relieves pressure for your audience or challenges an industry cliché.
Slide 6: Call to Reflection or Comment
Which of these surprised you most?
Or what’s one thing you wish more people knew about (your topic)?
Tell me below – I’d love to hear it.
Tip to customise: Make the comment prompt feel like a conversation starter, not a test. Example:
“What’s one truth you wish people knew about home design?”
“What’s something about fitness that surprised you when you started?”
“What’s one thing you’ve learned about building a business the hard way?”
Slide 7: Optional CTA Slide

Most people think [insert niche topic] is about [common misconception]
But what if it’s not?
What if the thing you’ve been told to fix isn’t actually the thing holding you back?
Here’s what I see all the time as a [your role or niche]:
→ Clients obsessing over [surface-level action or detail]
→ People chasing [trendy tactic] instead of addressing [deeper truth]
→ Creators and founders stuck trying to “say it right” instead of saying what’s real
The truth is — most of the advice about [your topic] is built for businesses that play it safe.
Not for the kind of work you’re doing.
Not for the kind of ideas you’re carrying.
Not for the impact you’re here to create.
So here’s what I wish more people knew about [your niche or topic]:
→ [Truth 1]
→ [Truth 2]
→ [Truth 3]
This is the part no one teaches.
The stuff that doesn’t fit inside a 30-second Reel.
The insight that actually moves your business forward.
If you’re ready to stop tweaking and start telling the truth about what you do — my [offer name or link] is where we go deep.
This work deserves to be seen in full.
Not compressed.
Not diluted.
Not “made to fit.”

You’ve probably heard that [insert surface-level tip or cliché advice about your niche].
But if you’ve actually tried to apply that in the real world of [insert who you serve] - you already know:
It’s not enough.
It doesn’t stick.
It doesn’t explain the gaps you’re still navigating.
Here’s what I’ve learned from working inside [your niche / your role / your offers]:
→ [Insert unexpected truth #1]
→ [Insert unexpected truth #2]
→ [Insert unexpected truth #3]
This isn’t about doing more.
Or being louder.
Or tweaking your message until it sounds like everyone else.
It’s about finally understanding how [your topic] actually works - so you can stop second-guessing and start moving with purpose.
That’s what I teach inside [offer name].
And if you’ve been trying to piece this together on your own?
You don’t have to.
This is your reminder that [insert niche] doesn’t have to feel this hard - when it’s built from [your tip], not [misconception/pain point].
